Make some moves on our outdoor chess patio with our Central West End neighbors, Consuming Kinetics Dance Company (CKDC)! CKDC's Arica Brown will lead a class that explores chess through creative movement, dance techniques, and play on our giant chessboard. This program is designed for ages 3-6, but all ages are welcome! Free admission for World Chess Hall of Fame members, seniors, and military personnel.
Participants should wear comfortable clothing that allows for a full range of motion and closed-toe shoes. Caregivers will be required to sign a safety and media waiver upon arrival and are expected to remain present throughout the duration of the program.
Consuming Kinetics Dance Company (CKDC) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit professional dance company and community education center. In addition to our annual concert performances, CKDC offers a wide variety of dance classes to the public for every age and every technical level. CKDC is committed to providing accessible outlets for the community to engage in movement arts and to maintain a diverse environment that honors equality, equity, and compassion.
